January 26 - 9 AM Executive Functioning Skills

Please join us on Thursday, January 26th at 9:00am in the library of Eagle Ridge MS for a parent presentation on Executive Functioning Skills. Have you ever wondered why your child has a hard time completing homework, remembering to bring things home, or even taking any kind of interest in school? Executive functioning is a set of skills that help people organize, plan, and control their life to make sure things get done. Middle school students who have weakness in executive functioning have a hard time starting tasks, sustaining effort, and finishing what they start.

Christine L. Kalchthaler is a Licensed School Psychologist with specialty training in School Neuropsychology and a wide variety of experience in cognitive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children, adolescents and young adults. She will be here to discuss Executive Function skills and your middle school student and her ideas for developing these skills in your child. We hope you will be able to attend this presentation.
